Lightweight, easy-to-move crash barrier vehicle security barriers designed for optimal safety in construction zones.
The Small Vehicle Interception Device (Model: TOMARUKUN) is a movable isolation warning barrier specifically designed for construction zones on municipal roads. With its eye-catching appearance and controlled interception structure, it effectively warns and intercepts low-speed vehicles that mistakenly enter the area, ensuring the safety of construction personnel and drivers.
When a vehicle hits the device, the elbow part at the front drives the vehicle's front wheels to lift up, causing the wheels to leave the ground. The vehicle loses forward momentum as the energy transfers to the ground. The rubber at the bottom increases friction with the ground, forcing the vehicle to stop safely.
To optimize friction and mobility, we designed and installed specialized rubber blocks and rubber wheels at the bottom of the product.

RMHs TOMARUKUN |
Traditional Traffic Cones / Water-Filled Barriers |
| Core Function |
Active Interception: Stops vehicles through controlled collision, providing physical protection. |
Passive Warning: Only serves as visual reminder and route guide; no interception capability. |
| Safety Level |
High: Certified via crash testing; effectively absorbs impact energy to protect personnel and vehicles. |
Low: Prone to scattering upon impact, potentially causing secondary harm; suitable only for warning purposes. |
| Deployment Efficiency |
High: Single-person operation, foldable with wheels for fast modular deployment and retrieval. |
Medium/Low: Traffic cones require individual placement/retrieval; water-filled barriers are heavy and time-consuming. |
| Durability & Maintenance |
High: Aluminum body with electrostatic coating, corrosion and rust-resistant, long service life, low maintenance cost. |
Low: Plastic fades and degrades easily; rubber is prone to damage, requiring frequent replacement. |
| Visibility & Warning |
Strong: Large-area bright yellow surface, can integrate with LED indicator boards, highly visible day/night and in poor weather. |
Weak: Relies on reflective strips; effectiveness decreases significantly in rain, fog, night, or bright light. |
| Applicable Scenarios |
Professional Protection Scenarios: Municipal road construction zones, long-term maintenance areas, roads requiring active interception (vehicle speed ≤60 km/h) |
Basic Warning Scenarios: Temporary lane closures, traffic flow guidance, low-risk, short-term work zones |
| Overall Cost |
Higher upfront investment, higher long-term value. One-time investment, durable, low maintenance, reduces potential accident losses. |
Lower unit cost initially, higher long-term total cost. Prone to wear, requires frequent replacement, weak accident protection capability. |
Q1: What are the core advantages of this product?
A: It is made of high-quality aluminum alloy with strict quality control, featuring active collision interception capability, a foldable and mobile design, and high-visibility warning properties, specifically optimized for safety protection in municipal road construction.
Q2: Why choose aluminum alloy material?
A: Aluminum alloy is lightweight yet strong, corrosion-resistant, and environmentally recyclable. Combined with electrostatic spraying, it ensures long-term outdoor use without rusting, meeting both safety and sustainability requirements.
Q3: Is the product safety certified?
A: Yes, the product has passed collision tests conducted by a Japanese automotive laboratory, verifying its controlled interception performance and safety in low-speed collision scenarios. Relevant test videos are available for reference.
Q4: What scenarios is it suitable for?
A: It is mainly used in municipal roads, maintenance work zones, and low-speed vehicle areas (≤60 km/h). It can be deployed individually or in combination and can be paired with LED indicator boards to enhance warning effectiveness.
Q5: Is deployment and storage convenient?
A: Highly convenient. The product weighs only 25 kg, features a foldable design, and is equipped with wheels at the bottom, allowing for quick deployment, movement, and storage by a single person without tools.
Q6: Can it be used on highways?
A: This product is designed for low-speed scenarios (≤60 km/h). For use on highways or national roads, it is recommended to deploy multiple units in groups 50-100 meters behind the work zone, strictly adhering to local traffic regulations.
Q7: How is product quality ensured?
A: The product comes from China's leading Tomarukun vehicle security barrier production base. The factory strictly implements a quality management system, controlling the entire process from raw materials to finished products to ensure each batch meets high-performance standards.
