Portable Vehicle Barricades
HITOMARUKUN is a lightweight mobile crash barrier specifically designed for low-speed urban roads and construction zones. It solves the most practical problems on construction sites - traditional barriers are too heavy, too slow to deploy, and take up too much storage space.
Weighing only 13.4kg, it can be easily carried by a single person. Fold it up and store it in the trunk - take it anywhere. No electricity, no hoses - unfold and use immediately. When a vehicle accidentally hits it, the barrier lifts the front wheels and stops the vehicle through ground friction. The aluminum body is non-combustible and rust-proof, with an electrostatic powder coating that stays highly visible even after long-term outdoor use. Side handles allow attachment of a cold-light arrow guide sign for clear visibility at night.

Product Advantages
Light - 13.4kg, one person can carry it
Weighing only 13.4kg, it can be easily carried and deployed by a single person without forklifts or teamwork, significantly reducing labor costs.
Foldable - Fits in the trunk, take it anywhere
With a folded thickness of only approximately 80mm, it fits into a vehicle trunk for on-demand use, taking up minimal space.
Simple - No locking mechanism, unfold and use
No complicated locking devices - just take it out of the trunk, lay it flat, pull it open, and it's ready. Deployment takes about 2 minutes.
Pure - Purely mechanical, no power or hydraulics needed
Does not rely on any electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices. Works whether or not power is available on site - reliable in all weather conditions.
Safe - Aluminum body is non-combustible
Will not burn in a fire and will not produce hazardous flying debris, effectively preventing secondary disasters and protecting personnel and structures.
Durable - Electrostatic coating, no fading or rusting outdoors
The yellow/orange-yellow surface is treated with electrostatic powder coating, staying highly visible during long-term outdoor use. The aluminum body is corrosion-resistant.
Economical - Rubber plates can be replaced separately
When the rubber plates at the base are worn, only the plates need to be replaced - not the entire barrier - keeping maintenance costs low.
Expandable - Compatible with guide sign, multi-purpose
Side handles allow quick attachment of a cold-light arrow guide sign, providing both interception and traffic guidance functions, with clear visibility at night.
Working Principle
When a vehicle strikes the barrier, the barrier's structural design lifts the front wheels, causing them to lose contact with the ground. The impact force is transferred to the ground through the lever principle, with the ground bearing the primary force. Simultaneously, the rubber plates at the base generate friction against the road surface, forcing the vehicle to decelerate and stop within a short distance.

Application Scenarios
- Temporary municipal road maintenance (manhole cover repairs, pavement marking, streetlight maintenance, drainage work)
- Residential construction site isolation (road resurfacing, pipeline repairs, landscaping, cable laying)
- Temporary traffic control (event road closures, lane reductions, accident scene isolation)
- Partial parking lot isolation for repairs
- Temporary construction near schools
Instructions
Deployment (2 minutes):
Lay flat -> Pull open -> Position -> Check ground contact
Remove the barrier and lay it flat on the ground with the rubber plate facing down -> Grasp both sides and pull outward to fully unfold -> Place it transversely at the location requiring protection, facing oncoming traffic -> Ensure the rubber plate is in firm contact with the ground
Storage (1 minute):
Fold up -> Put away
Fold inward from both sides -> Return to the trunk or storage area
Remember these four points:
Rubber plate facing down * Fully unfolded * Facing oncoming traffic * Flat solid ground
Product Q & A
Q: What is this product?
A lightweight foldable crash barrier placed around construction zones to prevent vehicle intrusion.
Q: What scenarios is it suitable for?
Urban roads with speed limits of 30 km/h or below, residential construction, temporary road closures, and similar scenarios.
Q: How heavy is it? Is it easy to carry?
13.4kg - one person can carry it without help. Folds up to fit in a car trunk.
Q: How does it stop vehicles?
It lifts the front wheels upon impact and stops the vehicle through ground friction - no electricity needed.
Q: What material is it made of?
Aluminum profiles plus rubber. Aluminum is light, strong, rust-proof, non-combustible, and recyclable.
Q: Can it be used in rain or snow?
Yes. Purely mechanical structure, unaffected by weather - ready to use anytime.
Q: How is it deployed?
Lay flat, pull open, position it, check ground contact. Done in two minutes.
Q: Does it have a locking mechanism?
No. Unfold and use - no lock needed.
Q: How is it stored?
Fold inward from both sides and store in a trunk or warehouse corner.
Q: Can a guide sign be attached?
Yes - a cold-light arrow guide sign can be attached to the side handles, visible at night.
Q: Can it still be used after deformation?
Minor deformation - usable. Severe deformation - must be replaced.
Q: What precautions should be noted?
Rubber plate facing down, fully unfolded, facing oncoming traffic, flat solid ground. Prohibited on sections exceeding 30 km/h.
Q: What advantages does it have over other barriers?
Lighter than steel barriers, offers vehicle interception that plastic barriers lack, and is cheaper and easier to move than heavy-duty barriers.
Q: Who is it suitable for?
Municipal construction teams, property management, road maintenance units, event organizers, and traffic control departments.
Q: How to purchase?
Contact sales representatives or dealers. Custom colors and packaging available.
